I knew from an early age that design was what l wanted to do - in some form. At school all the illustrations, diagrams and maps l drew made my teachers think l was going to become a scientist (!) At college l thought l wanted to go into advertising but then l found graphic design. It was the time when Apple launched the Mac and l knew l wanted to be involved!

I was drawn to the power of the visual — the way a thoughtfully chosen colour, a perfectly weighted typeface, or a single striking image could change how something felt entirely. That instinct never left me. It's the foundation of everything I do.

I'm Sarah, the founder of Graphicologie — a boutique design studio based in Woking, Surrey. With many years of experience across graphic design, brand identity, packaging design, digital illustration and web design, I've had the privilege of working alongside some of the world's most discerning companies: De Beers, P&G, Coty, Garrard, Wella, Puig, Stephen Webster and more.
